Barnala district has secured the first position in implementation of "e-office" — an important project developed by NIC Punjab. District administration has achieved this milestone with rigorous hard work of 4 months and continuous efforts of all the administrative officers and staff. NIC Barnala has also extended its full technical support in its implementation. Barnala Mankanwal Deputy Commissioner Ghanshyam Thori said, "Implementation of e-Office in all DC offices of the state is a big step taken by Department of Governance Reforms, Punjab to ensure good governance for the citizens. e-Office platform is targeted to replace the traditional manual movement of dak with paperless electronic movement of dak. It not only brings transparency but also ensures security of government data by saving multiple copies of data at centralized servers placed in data centers at different locations."
