CSR programmes of NTPC praised

Telangana State Road Transport Corporation Chairman and Ramagundam legislator S. Satyanaryana was all praise for NTPC Ramagundam for its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programmes and benefiting the people living in the region.

Participating as chief guest at the distribution of useful materials to the Anganwadi centres of Ramagundam mandal on Saturday, the TSRTC Chairman said that the NTPC Ramagundam made its presence felt by effectively implementing its CSR programmes in the education, health, drinking water, creation of infrastructure and self-employment programmes benefiting the locals. He hoped that the Telangana Super Thermal Power Station with installed capacity of 4,000 MWs coming up under the NTPC would further increase the volume of work for the society through CSR.

NTPC Ramagundam Executive Director Prasant Kumar Mohapatra said that the support extended to the Anganwadi centres would help promote the future generation.
