U.S. Vice President JD Vance, already in India for strategic talks, added a personal touch to the U.S. response. Speaking from Jaipur, alongside his wife and children, Vance expressed deep sorrow and condemned the “cowardly” attack.

“Our hearts go out to the victims and their families. America stands with India in this hour of grief,” he said. His remarks added gravity to his diplomatic mission, which also includes discussions on defense cooperation and regional stability.

India Vows Justice

Back home, Home Minister Amit Shah rushed to Srinagar and announced an expansive manhunt for those responsible. “We will not rest until every terrorist involved is brought to justice,” he declared.

Prime Minister Modi, in a national address, condemned the killings as "barbaric" and called for unity. “This is not just an attack on individuals, but an attack on India’s spirit,” he said.
