Musk Shares Optimus AI Video After Analyst Demands Proof

Elon Musk has released a new video showcasing Tesla’s humanoid robot Optimus, responding directly to analysts who questioned the company’s progress in robotics and demanded evidence of real-world capability. The video, posted on Musk’s social media platform X, highlights Optimus performing coordinated movements, manipulating objects, and demonstrating improved balance and dexterity—features Tesla claims are powered entirely by its end-to-end AI systems.

The timing of the video follows increasing skepticism from investors and analysts who argued that Tesla had offered ambitious timelines for humanoid robotics without providing concrete demonstrations. Musk’s latest post appears aimed at reassuring the market that Optimus is advancing steadily toward functional utility.

Tesla says Optimus now uses the same neural-network training methods deployed in its self-driving technology, allowing the robot to learn tasks through vision and imitation rather than rigid programming. The video showcases smoother limb control, object handling, and more natural motion compared to previous prototypes.

While the demonstration marks visible progress, experts note the robot still appears to operate in controlled conditions. Analysts say Tesla must eventually prove Optimus can perform complex, unscripted tasks safely in real-world environments before it can be considered commercially viable.

Nevertheless, the video has reignited excitement among Tesla supporters, who view Optimus as a potential multi-billion-dollar future business. Musk maintains that humanoid robots will one day surpass Tesla’s automotive segment in value, and insists Optimus will begin limited factory tasks as development accelerates.
