Varonis has announced the acquisition of AllTrue.ai for $126 million, a move aimed at strengthening security controls for AI agents and copilots that increasingly handle sensitive enterprise data. The transaction is expected to close by the end of March 2026.
Varonis CEO Yaki Faitelson cautioned that poorly configured AI systems represent a growing enterprise risk. Operating continuously and at machine speed, AI agents can rapidly amplify errors, potentially exposing large volumes of data within seconds. “AI security is fundamentally a data security problem,” Faitelson said, emphasizing that model safety depends entirely on the data and permissions they are given.
Founded in 2025, AllTrue.ai focuses on providing end-to-end visibility and governance for AI agents across their lifecycle—from creation and configuration to runtime monitoring and compliance. The Vancouver-based company employs 32 people and is led by Ron Bennatan, the founder of database security firm jSonar, which was acquired by Imperva in 2020.
Varonis considered building comparable AI security capabilities internally but opted for acquisition to accelerate execution in a fast-moving market. According to Faitelson, AllTrue.ai differentiated itself through comprehensive agent inventory, strong guardrails, and actionable insights into real-world AI behavior.
By integrating AllTrue’s lifecycle governance with Varonis’ expertise in identity, permissions, data classification, and behavioral analytics, the combined platform aims to deliver comprehensive, enterprise-grade AI security—helping organizations understand not just which AI agents exist, but how they actually interact with critical data and systems.
